After running Sports Relief miles with the children at work most days this week (leading by example and all that - though I never was leading π) I was looking forward to a longer run this weekend (the miles at work having just felt like doing that toxic ten bit of a run and then just stopping) and decided it was dry enough to head over the field route I used to run when I started C25K back in August. In the early weeks this was a good 'ninja' route as I didn't meet many people (so very few witnesses to my wobbling waddling efforts!) and I'd 'run' 15mins out and 15 mins back. I couldn't believe it when I'd almost reached the end of the outward route when Strava anounced I'd covered 1k!.
Spurred on by the sense of progress and my new spangly leggings I ran a wider loop back and then continued to run the other (pavement) loop I used to run when doing C25K runs in the evening.
No records broken but a really comfy 6.3k and a feeling there's something left in the tank.
So chuffed π.
Have a great Sunday folks.

I do feel fantastic am beginning to think that 10k might be possible. Think I need to time the start of your plan so the longer runs occur during the summer holidays so looking to start at beginning of July - suggestions of useful things to be doing between now and then would be very welcome.
Well done Debs, you could try the Zombieruns! free app... you run for at least 30 mins then go into radio mode and can carry on or stop when you want to...πxx
