I have been on here very little the last couple of weeks due to ongoing battles with the dreaded asthma, working lots of hours and of course the WEATHER!!!
And this morning I have again woken up to howling gales and blizzards.
However yesterday my entry details for the Blyth 10k in just a few weeks arrived so I need to get cracking and have set myself a schedule of 3 x 5k runs this week and an 8k at the weekend to get back up there.
This looks like the last day of the really bad weather so take care if you are venturing out.
Run happy, run safe.

The race I had booked was snowed off a couple of weeks ago, a blessing really as it gave a chance for my shin injury to heel.
Me and my brother were in the process of arranging another one til I pulled a hamstring on a Parkrun yesterday, it popped 4.3k into the run, jeez did it hurt 😖
Yes, tomorrow it begins to look a bit better, say hi to Guildford for me, I left in 1996 and haven't ever had a chance to get back down but many happy memories of 26 years there. 😁
Ooo Jan, I live in Horsham! It's nice to know that someone on here is close by... even though it would probably take me a week to jog over and say hi!!
Sorry about the asthma and the weather (are the two connected?). Your plan sounds like a good one and I am sure you will be fine for the 10k - good luck!!
Sounds like a great plan and am sure you’ll nail it. I got up and ran early this morning as the OH was out on a bird count at Meldon, due back home for coffee and toast at 10am so I took the chance and got my 5k in. Glad I did now as it’s been snowing heavily here since about 10am.
Take care and I hope your 3 planned 5k runs this week are good ones!
