There is a great plan devised by Ju Ju that will get you to 10k dogaloo. Quite a few of us have and are using it. Its three runs per week of different lengths. Its fun and doable. It takes 6 weeks.

As Bluebirdrunner mentioned, ju-ju-'s is great. It's straightforward, simple and entirely feasible (and you can easily adapt it to your own situation, repeating a week here and there if necessary).
I would definitely recommend Ju-ju ‘s plan, it’s is nice and achievable xx
