One of the great things about this forum is that we are all near Grantham in spirit at least. If you don’t find any one local, be assured we are all running with you. Irish John points out that you might run on your own but you are never alone. Keep dropping in for support and encouragement 🏃🏾‍♀️😊🏃🏾‍♀️🏃‍♂️

I found a local running club to join. I also use Strava to log my runs. The Flybys show other athletes whose paths have crossed yours on your run. While I may not run with any of them, It helps to know there are others out there running while I am running, and we tend to exchange a friendly 'Hi!' as we pass. Sometimes I get 'chatting' to others when leaving comments on their activities. While I love the club runs, I wouldn't want to run with others every time I go out as we are all at different levels in our training and enjoy different routines. Even when out on my own, I know there are others with me, in a variety of ways...somewhere. 😀🏃‍♀️

I joined my local running club for the company and motivation once a week. Maybe Google running clubs in your area and go along on a trial run to see if you like it?
