Improvement at last!!

My first parkrun in early August after fracturing my foot in early June had me walk/stagger the distance in 60 minutes. It then took me until mid December to get under 40 minutes and today finally got back to 35 minutes. Mind you it was 27C at 7AM this morning so not a pleasant run at all - very hard! I am hoping to get that remaining 5 minutes off over the next few months as it cools down a little.

Well done, and great photo! I remember running in the early morning at that temperature last summer here in Italy and it was very punishing. Running in hot weather is tough.

Looking strong in the photo, Bazza. The grass must be slightly harder on a recovering foot in terms of an uneven surface than tarmac, but then I guess it's softer - although perhaps not, having been baking in the temps you've had?
