40 minute run - done!

Hi all

Thank you to everyone who gave me some advice about running in the dark last week. Tonight I added another layer and used my husband's head torch (it's much brighter) and things were better. I didn't drive to the local town to run but I did run to the town so the middle part of the run was in street lights which made a really good change. I'm fortunate this week that my work schedule is going to enable me to do my remaining runs in the light (including Parkrun number 3 - if you haven't done one, do one this weekend - they're fab!) which I'm really pleased about. I've spotted a few good bits of kit too to keep me even more illuminated which may go on my Christmas list.

It was tricky getting out tonight but I just told myself if I can do it when the dark nights are upon us it'll be dead easy when the evenings are lighter and warmer. 10km is in sight!
