Just about to sort out my number and get it pinned to my vest and the nerves are kicking in. Have done 4 or 5 long distance runs so I have the proof to myself I can do it, but paranoid about stupid things going wrong.

Any other C25k graduates going? I’m staring in the green pen apparently.

Aggghhhhhhhh, but it’s ok other half and friends for moral support are happy, they’ve got a reservation for breakfast sorted whilst I’m up the other end of the course from the start so I can relax now apparently 😳

So I did it. 1:06:11 and every mile spilt started with a 10. Over the moon and now planning on the next ones and every split starting with a 9.

Well done!! Despite all the faffage you did a fantastic run. There are so many nerves and faff prior to events but they give you the drive to succeed. Enjoy celebrating your shiny new medal.
