Tomorrow is the big day, my first proper 10k race from Blyth harbour to Seaton Sluice and back here on the North East coast. The field is full apparently at 650 and the course is nice and flat so I'm hoping for a great experience and a decent time.
Went out for a very gentle 5k this morning just to get some distance in my legs as I hadn't run since last weekend.
Wish me luck everyone and I will post tomorrow.
Run happy, run safe.

Good luck.... don’t be tempted to go full pelt with the pack at the beginning... start slow and steady and then allow yourself some more push after halfway.... I will be cheering you on virtually!!
