Watched the laying of the wreaths at the Cenotaph this morning..then two minutes silence.

Straight out for my 5k virtual Poppy run. 🌺

I attended the remembrance service after Church this morning, the memorial is directly opposite it . Very moving indeed .

Mine was an early one too, before they closed the roads for the march. Ran between the two war memorials so a nice way to start and finish. Lovely clear roads and a very slow and satisfying plod☺

Loving that photo Jan, I'm thinking 'ooooh, nice jacket, I could do with one like that' and then I spot that colourful buff , in fact I need your whole running outfit - that I can see anyway! Hope your run was good. I think it's a really great idea, all that thinking time is very fitting on a such a day.

Ah.. you are kind fishypieface 😊 that jacket is just the thing to keep the wind out, mine is Ronhill the men's version (covers my derrière 😉)....
