You're looking really good, Bazza! Hard to believe you're as old as you are! So glad you can run again - even if it is short.

Thanks for your kind words - I do turn 71 next month :) I have always said that I want to continue running as long as I can. I have come to realise that maybe I was getting a bit carried away with the running ( half marathons, etc) and since this happened , I have started going to a gym and started to ride a bicycle. So I am now thinking that I will continue with these activities in between what running I can do. I had been quite afraid that my running "career" might have been over - but I will have to take it a bit easier. :)

Well done Bazza. I ran Parkrun too. Ran 7k yesterday evening so my legs were tired today. Far from a PB but I got around ok.

I'm sure it's great to be back after 18 weeks.

Congratulations, was it ok?

IT was OK in the sense that I felt no pain as my feet hit the ground. :) Felt plenty of "pain" in calf muscles and elsewhere in feet as they have not been used. I just have to be careful that I don't over do it now - run/walks every second day for a while. basically back to C25K.

It is a start of your come back, keep this up and you will be running in no time! Great to see you out there, did you enjoy it?

Bazza 1234 , it was you last October that told me to check out my nearest parkrun. I was tailwalker this weekend on my 47th parkrun and loved it . Little bit of running, little bit of walking , lots of cheering
