I talked myself out of running yesterday morning... woke too early... then dozed till too late... don’t like to run when too many people about... too windy... not after I’ve eaten etc
And then sulked with myself all day because I hadn’t so today I just rolled out of bed, into my gear, grabbed a banana and headphones and off I went. And I’m so glad I did. It was just a really nice run - breathing felt good all the way.
I didn’t really even notice my surroundings that much ( except to sidestep a few other runners and dog walkers) I was just “ in the zone” enjoying the fact I COULD and WAS running. My feet felt bouncy and light, nothing was hurting and I could breathe easily. It’s the first time I’ve felt like that since I was running 10ks easily last summer. I began to think maybe, just maybe I WILL get back there again. So that is week 2 of B210k done and I’m looking forward to week 3!!!!
Came home and showered and still felt so good that I did 30 mins of Pilates - Hip Flexor Release and Spine Mobility and now I’m attempting to make bread. I think it over-rose if anything so il have a wide flat round loaf instead of a nice dome but who cares. It will go down the same hole as if it was perfectly shaped. If anyone says anything it’s “artisan”. 🤣🤣😡
