Planned to do 7k this morning after a day sat watching England win the ODI in Southampton yesterday.πππππ
Was on my own as my sister did a parkrun yesterday so headed for the railway line to do a steady 7k. And it felt comfortable and it was sunny and there was a cool breeze....so I kept going! And I got to 10k for the first time! I'm so happy!! It wasn't fast but it was 10k!! Was hoping to do it in about an hour and a half so was pleased with the time.
I graduated almost a year ago so it's taken a while...!
Thank you for my lovely badge!! I will 'wear' it with pride!
The bottom photo is the railway line from my house. It's my favourite place to run.

Hey Ang33333, thatβs brilliant!! Many congratulations - I know we started this running malarkey around a similar time, so Iβve been interested in your progress. And all when you werenβt quite expecting it too!! Great achievement.
Congratulations to you Ang33333 on graduating and completing a 10k run today, well done, I remember congratulating you when you graduated from C25K and you congratulating me when I graduated from C25K.
I have been rerunning some of the weeks of C25K, this week its week 9. Not sure if this year I will do what you have just ran. π π, once again congratulations π π
Once I have ran a few 30 minute runs I will increase the distance by the 10% rule, that is 3 minutes longer a run, I usually run the longer runs on a Wednesday and Saturday, I have measured out two 10K routes, all off road, I'll see how it goes. π.
Ang, you are a superstar! π Very very well done you! ππππππ
I hope youβre still grinning from ear to ear and feeling uber proud? Bask in your glory, bore your friends and family, and think about how epic that achievement was. Ace! πππππ

10k is a long run! Consolidate. Get comfy with the 10ks to the point they are your weekly long run. Then slowly add a km and build up to 10 miles/16.1k.
Short term goals will get you to HM easily. It really is just believing that you can x
Hi Ang, Iβm a little bit late to your party due to some technical difficulties with the app but just wanted to say very well done to you, amazing! πππ I remember I graduated C25k around the same time as you. Your progress is brilliant, I hope it is the first of many 10ks to come! π π
