MapMyFitness really does have oddly timed runs 🀣

Gorgeous morning down by the river, very soggy from the knees down though, due to the grass being so tall. Virtually no-one around when we set out and only a handful by the time we were finishing, which made for a very pleasant run. I was listening to an audio book, like I do when on a long run, but I did manage to concentrate on my breathing as well. Knee is twinging a bit now, but I didn't really feel it while I was running, which is good. I am assuming it's good anyway πŸ™‚

That really looks lovely running ground!

Be sure to monitor that knee.

That's a good idea about an audio book, I may give it a try!

It is lovely, the long grass can be very tricksy and try to trip people up though, so you have to be careful.

I find a lot of music is just... very annoying tbh.

Wow. That is a big sky. What a gorgeous place to run. I struggle to remember to breath sometimes too :-)

For once the picture actually came out as blue as it looked to me Remembering to breath properly when I'm doing an interval run definitely goes out the window! πŸ˜€

That looks gorgeous! Lots of stretching for that knee and if you have one, use a foam roller on your quads, hamstrings, calves and glutes.

I am getting a foam roller for my birthday, so not long to wait now! Really looking forward to using it, even though I know it is going to hurt.

Gotta love those computer generated durations :)

Looks like a gorgeous place to run. But do be careful with that knee.

They are so funny!

I am doing my best with the knee, but it's hard not to run when I'm otherwise feeling fit and healthy and raring to go, you know?

The knee has been pretty good today. Even though I spent over an hour crawling round my bedroom floor this afternoon scrubbing paint splashes off the flooring (not carpet, I hasten to add).

Just debating whether to do my scheduled run tomorrow or rest up until Saturday ready for Parkrun with the grandsprockets.

Great...maybe just a short run?

Scheduled run 12 minutes running "as fast as you can" sandwiched between two 10 minute slow sections. So it's not so much long as hard on the knees. I might just walk the dog and do some Really Brisk walk sections.
