I was up and out the door by 7.45 and I managed a nice 5k even though I was running against the wind most of the way. It’s was so fresh and nice though and the sun was out which was a nice change from lately and all the rain.
I ran down through the town and out along the Tarka Trail and it was so fresh and clear. It was sunny enough that I didn’t have to wear sunnies but still felt good on my skin.
This run was just what I needed after the last few weeks. My legs were a bit achey which I think was due to sitting about as we have driven a lot lately. But apart from that it was fine
Really felt good!!need more days like this 😁

That looks like a beautiful place to run. The weather certainly is a challenge at the moment! Sometimes I find the best thing for achy legs is a gentle run.
Hold on to that feeling! Those runs are special. ❤️
it is a gorgeous place to run with the ever changing views dependent on the seasons. I never tire of that stretch of Trail. I run both sides of the river but this mornings side is my favourite by far.
haha yeah!! She managed to buy 2 bottles of vodka at the weekend( not sure how as under 18) and then realised she’s not going to be able to drink them or take them back with her so she announced I’ll leave them here for next visit 🥴😥.
it was but I’ve been feeling off colour ever since so haven’t run today which would have been my day. Hope I didn’t pick up covid from my grandson, who managed to get it in the middle of his holiday 🤞
