Running post C25k music advice

Hi there, sorry I've not posted for a while. I graduated about 4 weeks ago and I've been going out using Laura's week 9 for timing (and encouragement!). I have tried the stepping stones and stamina podcasts but I actually find the timing too slow. I've timed my steps and I start off at about 155 to 160 beats per min then work up to 175 to 180 bpm. Can anyone suggest a faster podcast for a 30 min run or a collection of running music I can have with Laura's encouragement please. I'm not very good at all the downloading techy stuff with my own music and I'd still like Laura to chat to me!

Saw this which I'm planning to purchase. 1 hour of 160 bpm songs for £7.99. They do other bpm too.

I use Polyrunner, I love it! Do be careful when you buy though, for that price you should get the whole bundle - the same music but at different cadences, so you can bump it up a bit if you want. I got one of them from Amazon - 99p NOT £7.99. Visit the Audiofuel website for the bundle, buy individual tracks from Amazon (does that make any sense?)

They'll give you the song options but then you have to purchase through iTunes, Amazon etc.

The old posts are sometimes the best and this one of your is a cracker. I already own the tracks I'm going to use (I have over 50 GB of music). The site you recommended takes the slog out of selecting the numbers with the right BPM. Many thanks indeed

Glad you found it! A certain beat makes a huge difference to running I think 🙂

Happy running to you 🏃🏃

They are varied for a reason. Stick with them, they are ace and build legs 😃

I run them a lot! They are tough! The stepping stones one has a fast five minutes at the end and kicks some serious ass. I can't see how that can be too slow 😃🏃‍♀️✔️👍

I made up my own running list and put it on my Mp3

Paranoia Black Sabbath

Don't Fear the reaper Blue oyster cult

Im still standing Elton John

Affirmation Savage Garden

Summer of 63 Bryan Adams

American Idiot Green Day

Youre the voice John Farnham

Na na na na na Keiser Cheifs

Etc. All quiet upbeat and fun. I went through music we already had stored and listened out for those with the right beat. Free music. 😊 no Laura though😆
