Music Hat Time

It was proper cold this morning. So cold in fact that it was time to put on the music hat for my NRC intervals.

First time I've tried the hat on. What a great invention. It kept my head nice and toasty in the freezing conditions and the tunes from Spotify and the NRC coaches were clearly audible.

It was a challenging interval session but it was just superb. What fun in the frost. Love it. At the end I could have walked home top less I was that hot but the locals may have raised an eyebrow in astonishment 😀. My glasses kept steaming up.

Also, I never knew I could sustain a pace of 4:26 / km for a whole minute. These interval / fartlek runs are teaching me lots of new things about myself

I thought you were having us on with the music hat! 🤣🤣 Never heard of them before. I've just googled them and wow, there are some clever people out there, what a brilliant invention! Well done on that run 👏👏👏 I love the NRC interval runs, they really make you challenge yourself and I always end up on a high 😀

Definitely not joking. I have the MusiCozy headband as well as the woolly hat with Bluetooth speakers. I love 'em. It also means I don't have to shove things down my ears.

I'm finding them really motivational. They make me push myself but in a controlled way that I just wouldn't do if I was running my own thing.
