Hi,

A few weeks ago I posted that I couldn't get my Parkrun time under 30 mins.

I got loads of great advice, including doing the stamina and speed NHS podcasts.

I've been training hard and today I finally did it!! I knocked nearly 50 seconds off my time!!

Thanks guys. πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Ooh, very interested to hear how you did this. How often did you run to train for a sub-30? I have been stuck at a PB of 31:28 for a year now! I've run parkrun 36 times! Yesterday I ran 32:47. Did you do many longer runs in preparation, or just the speed and stamina? Well done on a fantastic achievement, very admirable!

Hi,

I used the stamina and speed podcasts. I used them once each between the park runs.

I been doing some planks and core stuff because apparently it helps you run tall....

I also got my Fitbit to tell me my split km during the park run, I knew that if they were 6km or just under I was on track!

Good luck!! X
