Up for an early one this morning and feeling rather excited (and a little nervous) about how I would feel having had the best part of two weeks off !(๐ฎ). I usually run later in the day but it was beautiful out first thing and I made a mental note that I really should get up and run early more often. Stuck to the local roads and just a 5k to see how I felt. My dear old legs were happy to get out there I think and although 5k was probably enough for my first outing, I felt good as I finished and now can not wait to get back on my trails! On another positive, I have been able to remove the dressing following my op. All seems good and it's just a case of letting my body heal now!! Running has surely got to help?!๐
First post-op run and so good to be back out... - Bridge to 10K

Ahh, good Sandra I am glad you had a good run
Sounds perfect I think running is good for lots of things. Wishing you a continued speedy recovery
Well done Sandra! Great that you are healing so well and back out there..... I was thinking the same thing today about early morning runs!!! I find especially on the seafront that the early morning people you run by are much more jolly than the evening ones! I'm getting a bit out of practice on solo runs with run club and parkrun๐
How nice to be back out there! I bet it felt extra special - and nice that you enjoyed the early morning as well I'm glad all seems well after the op. Take care!
Good to hear you're back in your trainers again ๐โโ๏ธ
