No! It's sensible 😀

Don't worry, go slowly, listen to the podcast and you will be fine. Have fun 🙂

Not cheating at all! Flat, slow, steady -all good words for W5R3 :) It may seem daunting but your body is ready (it takes a while for the mind to come into line)! Lots and lots of different ways to make it more manageable, breaking the time into manageable chunks...5 minutes "I can do that" 8 minutes "I can do that" only another 7 minutes etc., or 4 X 5 mins. The real secret is to start slow and keep it slow and steady. Slow down even more if need be. You CAN Do this. We'll all be with you...cheering :)

You can do it! Trust the programme - its got you to here & oh the joy when you hear that voice telling you that you've just run 20 mins.

You'll not believe it & you'll not stop grinning & you'll come back here with loads of exclamation marks😉

Go go go!

W5R3 is the one that we all dreaded and for the vast majority it is also the one that demonstrates the value of the program and just how far we can progress in 5 short weeks.

Take it slow and steady and I am sure you will be just fine.

I am fine Ali, fell off the running wagon for a while and am just getting, slowly and steadily, back into the swing of things.

Have just caught up with some of your adventures and glad that things are going well.

Well done! Your doing great! You should always try to run on the flat doing c25k, or it makes it that bit harder, of course, not always possible when considering some peoples local area, I used to drive to an area of flatness to do it, But as you get more used to running try to incorporate hills in some of your runs, it'll build stamina. Try and not worry about the coming run weeks, put it out of your mind, the programme has been building you up to cope with them, it's the mind gremlins that try and pull us down, kick them into touch!😊

Ha ha I never thought of driving to a flat area!! (Not that easy to find here TBH!) I just thought I should run in the park beside me, which meant I always started & finished on a long slow hill!!!!

Ah well never mind, I can't go back now!!!

That's great having a park next door.. just think about how the hill has been building you up although tough, embrace it!😊

Definitely not cheating, it is planning for a successful run! Week 5 is a breakthrough week, every one of us dreaded it and expected to flop. Nice and slow, running at a comfortable speed and breathe slowly and deeply. Relax your shoulders and arms (it helps with breathing) and allow your legs to relax too as you run - off you go! This is the 10k forum by the way but we still remember every run for the C25K vividly - all the best 😀

If you've done all the other runs, then you will be up to it. Just take it slow and steady and I'm sure you can do it. I was pretty nervous about it, but totally overwhelmed that I managed to achieve it, and it sets you up well for the rest of the programme. just keep that can do attitude that got you out for he very first run on Week 1 I. The first place. You can do this. 🏃🏽‍♀️
