3 is the magic number it seems!

Hello lovely running peeps, thought I'd give you quick update, following Dexy's example. I've been run/walking and increasing the run times, until I reached 6.30 of run time, but I ended up with a sore hip the following day. So I dropped right back to runs of 1.30, and that was fine. But frustrating, because I didn't feel I was progressing. So, today, I tried a run time of 3.30, with a walk of 1 minute, and yes! That was a long enough run time to get my gait adjusted, not long enough to forget it again, and I could keep that up for 35 minutes. I covered 4.4 k, which felt like a proper workout. I went to the woods and didn't get lost, so win-win! 😁 (The hip, though, is a bit niggly whether I run, walk, or just sit around doing nothing. Sometimes a run seems to sort it out. Hmmm.)

It's great when you find something that works for you and you did. Also , what a lovely place to run. 😊😊🌞

It is lovely there buddy, it's only a ten minute drive from my house and I've missed it, so it's nice to get back out there.

Frustrating this rehab business. I have really moved on since I contacted my physio and she told me to keep running ! Uncomfortable to start with but getting easier as I go along. I haven't been right since the beginning April...hopefully things will improve for us both soon.🤞

I would be braver if my physio could check out my running but I'm happier being cautious until I know for sure what's up with the hip. Just nice being out there again for now 😊

Sometimes it has to be trial and error I guess?😀

Looks like it JP, at least I've got my exercises and some sort of plan to keep me going for a while.
