Myasics is what I use. Following a plan at the minute which sees me racing in the morning
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeha!
I hope you get on ok with your plan. If it's too much you can always come down a notch
I've tried my asics a couple of times, notably when I first graduated 5k but for some reason it starts me off in the first week with a massive jump in distance for example after my 5k I put in my asics a plan to get me to 10k and the first run, bearing in mind I was at 5k which was my limit, was 8km! I did it through brute determination but pulled my achilles doing so and was off for 6 weeks. Recently I plugged in my details again and it came up with a similar leap. I won't be using it.
Hmmm, sounds not quite right. You could try crunching the numbers again based on another race or parkrun time and see if it comes up with something more relevant
I ran a 10k race today and got a PB best time of 53:08 against a Myasics predicted time of 54:04, so am well chuffed. I thought I could never achieve 54:04 ever! I thought it pie in the sky. it just goes to show what you can do. I had to walk at one point today too!
I prefer to roll my own. Or at least I think I do so - reality is that it's 95% copying from different plans and guidelines I've read in books with just a few tweaks here and there to adapt it to what I've learnt works or (often the hard way) what doesn't work for me. Having looked at the bupa plans in your link, they all look good.
