10 k missed opportunity...

a week ago I fell and hit my shoulder and knee. I thought it was nothing and kept running for another 45 min. At the end I had a strange pain on my chest and I thought it must have been my muscles protecting the shoulder... The days came by and the pain did not go away. Went to the doctor on Wednesday and she suggested I might have cracked a bit my rib, so I have to stop running for one or 2 weeks.

So yesterday's 10 k did not happen for me... I hope to get back and find another one next year. I definitely learnt a lot in terms of speed-work and hopefully it will be useful anyway...

wish you all a great week

Marco

That's rough! It'll get better soon, your as bad as floss you are at banging ribs! A few weeks isn't too long and there'll be other 10ks..😊

Ouch! Sorry to hear this. Hope you get better soon and are able to get back out there. As you say, there will be many more 10k races waiting for you once you are better. Rest up well🙂.

Sounds ouchy 😖 and what a shame about the race. Rest up and no bear hugs for a while 🙂

Ouch Marco! Hope you recover fast! There will be many more 10k opportunities for you, so don't worry about that.
