This morning I went with Him Indoors to a "Body Attack" aerobics class at the gym. I was remembering we're meant to do cross training and not just run. For that reason and that reason alone, I may well go back as it's no doubt very improving and worthy. (I cycled there too for extra shininess on my halo, by the way).

But oh boy, I prefer running!

I am terminally uncoordinated which is a definite issue for Body Attack, but I also found it *whispers* really boring...

I think it was the fresh air I missed most though.

I don't know what happened to good old aerobics 😏 It did the job and it was fun.

I see your halo from here, well done 😇

Oh yeah, there it is! I see it glinting from here 😊

Never mind you can still run, cycle and do the class. It's all grist to the mill and good for you. Be sure to eat your greens anorl 😊

I cannot stand indoor not running related activity... this is why I am so bad at cross training...

Well done on going for it :)

I may try some Yoga at home in the next few weeks, given the current focus on cross-training...

I love Ekhart Yoga - you can find plenty of sessions on YouTube to see if you like it, there's running specific stuff.

I do swim (deathly dull but I am doing a virtual swim of the River Derwent which is taking me a few years) and, all too rarely, cycle (but with electrical assist)

I tried a belly dancing class I found on the NHS choices website but makes my brain tired trying to follow.

I couldn't do anything like that; it was thinking exercise meant doing a class or going to gym that put me off exercising before I started running. I just use some weights at home or do body weight exercises. And walk whenever I can.
