Hey Jaxsy

I'm not racing but am doing the "Walk the Wight" walk this weekend! just got to suss out which will be my best shoes to wear, walking boots or trail running shoes incase fancy a jog! ! there are quite a few that will be running it (26.5 mile!)

You star ⭐️ Can you hide a pair of the other shoes or trainers somewhere en route; wouldn't have thought you'd want to run in boots unless in the SAS but I can see you switching to a jog to shake out the walking muscles....

I wonder if you could leave a spare pair at a water stop ??

Yep we're doing the full walk, been doing it since 2000, don't miss many years, but this is only my 4th time doing the full walk, used to mainly do the 2nd half (14 mile). It's a good atmosphere and in aid of local hospice, 7000 in it last yr! Boz is going to be on standby to bring me a swap of boots if I need it half way 😊

Hope it all went well for you today. I am very happy to have done mine - it went well and I knocked 2.5 mins off my PB, so that was great. I actually feel like a runner now.
