Westonbirt 10 k

Hi all. I'm running the westonbirt 10k in a few weeks. Has anyone here run this one and if so what can I expect. I'm really looking forward to it as I'm a bit of a tree nut. Many thanks. Andy

Never run there but I visited a few years ago and it is beautiful. Seem to remember it being pretty flat(?) so I would think it would be a fab place to run. If you like a tree or two, you will love it...just don't keep stopping to take pictures!😉

I ran this last year and in fact posted about it!

It was a fab route, mostly flat but there are two "little hills", one after about the first K and the other, if I recall, at around the 7K point, but they don't last long and they won't worry you. I'm gutted that I can't do this one this year as I really wanted to.

When is the race you're doing? I'm looking at one in August and sadly it's on roads starting and finishing from the school, rather than in the arboretum.

This one is in a couple of weeks. Race for the trees. Actually in the arboretum itself which will be great. Im working for the august one unfortunately.
