heya katjenlou -- I'm in the area, but not quite up to 10k yet. I just finished week 9 and barely make it through the 30 minutes of running. Plus I'm saving up for some tech gear with a heart rate monitor. :)  Priorities -- Beer money, new running shoes, and gadgets.  :)  Happy Running.

hi potato_jo, I started in Nov and did my first 5k around Xmas, first 10k mid March, so working up to this! Gadgets are fun... I agree! :)

Wow - you're doing great! It took me 3 months to get to 5k (actually 30 minutes of running - not to 5k YET), even though I'm a good countryside walker - running is tough.  So, again, Excellent progress...and lucky to have a marathon man-friend. :-D
