Thank you π I had to do a bit more otherwise when it transfers it to Strava it takes a bit off ... twice itβs changed my 5k to 4.9k and I wasnβt risking it π€£π€£
Whoopee to you Bridget! You did it!!! Many congratulations! Enjoy your time on the podium, don't forget to request your well deserved badge and all the very best for your onward running journey. Whoopee! Whoopee! Fantastic! Such perseverance! Well done to you! ππΎπ₯π ππ»πππβοΈ π₯β‘οΈ ππ»ββοΈπ€ΈββοΈππ»ββοΈπ€ΈββοΈππ»ββοΈπ€ΈββοΈ
I have just arrived back from a dentist appointment which was not fun so your post was just what I needed to change my focus. Thank you and very well done! Enjoy your high! I'm smiling with you! πHave you planned any celebration?
Thank you π I was only supposed to be doing the 9k but I couldnβt leave that 1k just dangling there so I just kept plodding π€£π€£ hope your dentist appointment went well? And your hamstring is feeling better.
I forgot to mention the extra well done for completing your 10 km in wind, rain and hail! Amazing!
Dentist was OK and hamstring is still not right, but improving slowly, I think. I have a feeling that I shall be building up my running from about 15 minute runs, boo! I like the longer runs because of the sight seeing you can do. 15 minutes doesn't take me far enough. Ah well as long as we are improving our health and fitness, the long runs can wait for the time being.
Did you explore a new route today or keep to familiar territory?
That Graduate 10 badge looks brilliant by your name! Whoop! Whoop! ππ
Thank you for the extra well done π I ran to where the park run is held plodded round there for a bit then plodded home but had only done 8.5k so had to do the beginning of the run again ππ sorry your hamstring is still playing up but it will get better soon and youβll soon be back to where you were ππ»
Woo hoo! Well done, Bridget! Running 10k is no mean feat at the best of times, but kudos for you on doing your 10k in the wind and rain! That makes you extra tough.
Whoop whoop Bridget, I knew youβd do it and well done for going out in the wind and rain too. Celebrations here we come! πββοΈππ»ππ»πΎπ₯πππ₯³
Thank you π I was only supposed to do 9k but I just couldnβt leave it with βonlyβ 1k between me and my target! I certainly felt the last k though! πππ€£
So you did the same! ππ Couldnβt leave that last 1k ... seemed rude not to do it π€£π€£ I bet your legs will feel really strong after all that skiing Iβve heard itβs really hard work β·
Congratulations to you Bridget007 on running your first 10K. To get the word GRADUATE10 next to your username leave a message on the March healthunlocked 10K homepage on the pinned posts on the right side and tell the administrators that you have ran a 10K
It's there now, I usually advise graduates of C25K how to get their graduation badge, not 10K graduates, but 'graduate10' seems to work the same way, once again well done. π π
Yay. You did it!!!!! ππππππππΌββοΈππΌββοΈππΌββοΈπππ. Brilliant run Bridget. So pleased. Runners glow for you today. Such a fab distance.
π thatβs because it is a really long way and you run it. You really do run it. Amazing feeling. Whoβd have ever thought weβd be chatting about 10k when we started. All a bit mad but a good mad ππππ
Thank you π I only did the bit extra bit because when my watch transfers my run to strava it takes a bit off! 5kβs suddenly turn into 4.9kβs and I wasnβt having that after all my hard work! π€£π€£
Thank you π I canβt believe Iβve actually done it at last! I was determined I wasnβt going to stop ... when I got to 5.1k I said to myself well youβre over halfway now π€£π€£
Oh yessssss Bridget, Iβm so happy to see your post! Really really well done! I hope youβre celebrating your mammoth achievement in a suitable fashion (π₯ππ₯ππ₯)
10k is epic, and you must be epic too as youβre the one that ran it! ππππͺπͺπͺπππ
Thank you π i still feel chuffed π and I have had a couple of π₯π₯ ππ I think Iβm going to sleep well tonight π΄ hope youβre enjoying your holiday π
Brilliantly well done 007! What a fantastic achievement. I hope to follow your example tomorrow - I have to admit I decided to try tomorrow because the weather looks better - so double well done to you doing 10K+ in difficult conditions! πππππββοΈππ
Thank you π I had to do it yesterday otherwise my legs would have been too tired to do parkrun on Saturday π€£π€£ good luck tomorrow Iβll keep the podium warm for you til then ππ
Thank you π I did have a couple of glasses of wine but was so lovely and tired I went to bed and slept with a grin on my face for nearly 8 hours ππ
Sorry to be late to the party Bridget.....fantastic achievement......through rain wind and all the horrors of our climate too....no stopping you! It's party time π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π
Thank you π just a small party π₯³ of two glasses of wine βΊοΈπ₯ well I canβt drink on a Friday night any more because of park run on Saturday morning ππΌββοΈ π€£π
Brilliant! I canβt remember if I have already congratulated you (you have had so many replies!) but itβs worth saying again: awesome effort! πππ
Magic, think you'll be on that high for more than 2 days. Have you got a big smile on your face. So great, well done. I know that thing with Strava...I've had it take bits off, so always do a bit more. Congratulations, so pleased for you πΎππ»
