Still can't do it properly! 4th attempt this morning and I had to walk the final jog interval before the final sprint. Maybe it'll be 5th time lucky (like my driving tests).
Gorgeous morning for a run though. Lots of frost, lots of clear blue sky and NO BLOODY WIND!

No shame in walking. The main focus of the interval is the speed and then improving recovery. I did intervals yesturday and my 'treat' was walking for 30 seconds after each one. It was a really tough work out but they always pay off... keep going and walking in my book is fine...
Yes, definitely. Stepping Stones now feels relatively easy and although I haven't yet finished it, Stamina is virtually guaranteed to give me a 5k PB at the moment. I am determined to crack Speed though!!!
I have just worked out how to download these.....should I work them in any particular order? I completed c25k in December and have been plodding about 3 times a week rather aimlessly since then! I feel I need a bit of structure.
You keep at it. It will still be doing you massive amount of good. It took me months before I could do it 'properly' but my average speed improved way before that
Try the old tip of slowing down. Obviously not completely because it is called "speed" after all, but don't go quite so all out on the fast intervals and then if you've got anything left, put it all into the last one and see how fast you can go.
Still a big plus there Simon , keep doing it you will get there
It is all about improvement no matter how big or small that is
