Weird symptoms after medical abortion

Hello everyone, I hope someone with experience can help me.

I already have two daughters with my partner and 15 days ago we discovered my third pregnancy. In a panic we decided on a medical abortion. Last Monday, in the grip of guilt, I took the first Mifepristone pill, I was 5+3 weeks. The next two days I do not notice any particular symptoms except for some cramps. No bleeding. Wednesday morning I take the two Misoprostol pills after breakfast together with Ibuprofen and buscopan (on medical advice).

I start bleeding about 1-2 hours after taking them, but not a heavy flow like my normal period.

After another 3 hours I take the remaining 2 Misoprostol pills.

From then on only normal bleed, no clots, except for almost invisible pieces and a few filaments of mucus.

As the days go by the bleed seems to decrease until I only have a few sporadic losses (for example when I move or run or make sudden movements).

The problem is that since Sunday both in the morning and in the evening I have felt a deep sense of sickness and dizziness, as well as perennial tiredness.

Is it possible that the effects of Misoprostol after 5 days are still these symptoms?

I feel inside that something hasn't worked. I've never seen any big clots coming out, I immediately thought because I was only 5 weeks pregnant, however given these symptoms too, isn't it that the pregnancy hasn't come out and I'm still pregnant? I'll have a check-up in the next few days, but I can't live with the anxiety like this.

Can anyone who has had a medical abortion tell me afterwards if they had symptoms like mine and if everything had gone well?

hey I would call whoever prescribed you the pills to talk to them or call BPAS if it wasn’t them as they should be able to help, I think you are best to talk through with a medical professional, hope all goes okay xx
