Almost 4 weeks ago I had a miscarriage. I was only 4 weeks along and a couple of days after the miscarriage started I went to see my doctor. She said to book a blood test for hcg and iron deficiency. Also said that if the bleeding carried on for more than 2 weeks, to go back. Very heavy bleeding for two day, medium bleeding for three and brown spotting for two. This over 3 weeks ago. The week after I felt all over the place, naturally. The week after that I felt myself returning to normal. Then last week Friday I get these horrific cramps, like period pains. So I thought it was a sign of a period to come. Saturday, same thing, except in the morning I threw up. Sunday afternoon, pains again as well as being sick. Monday I phoned doctors and blood tests are negative. I had them about a week after the miscarriage. I've got a bump under my naval, I can smell so much, even dust. I'm struggling to keep food down yet all I want to do is eat. I can't even figure out my own mood. And my boobs are so sore and swollen. The one thing that's never stopped growing is my boobs, even after the miscarriage. Is this my body still thinking it's pregnant because it didn't expel the failed pregnancy? Or is there a chance I'm still pregnant?

I would go back to the doctor and ask for and early pregnancy scan to see what's going on. It's really difficult for anyone to know and maybe there is some tissue left causing infection. This happened to me once. I wish I could help and tell you either way but I just can't but if you do have anything left it's important to get that seen to as that can cause further complications. Or it could be that you are still pregnant things like this can happen x
I did go to the doctors today and he has ordered more blood tests, including another hcg. If those are inconclusive then he will put me forward for an appointment for a scan. He did say that as I miscarried so early on it's unlikely there's any left over, seeing as there wasn't much to begin with. But as he stated, we'll have to wait and see what the tests say.
