Help! Prostate cancer spread to bladder.

Diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2017, confined to bones and lymph nodes.

After chemotherapy, have had a great run on drugs, but a bladder neck incision last June confirmed that it had spread to my bladder, about 1cm poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma on the left side.

The urologist seemed to adopt a “wait and watch” approach, arguing that because it’s in the blood vessels, can’t get rid of it all. Now, months later, I have blood in my urine. A cystoscopy revealed nothing particularly new, but obviously concerned. I’d hoped with my PSA rising, I’d have at least two or more years on different types of chemo, to be commenced soon.

Whilst an enthusiastic layman on prostate cancer, I know little about how to tackle this. I know little about bladder treatment - TURBT, TURP, or scraping to keep it down. I don’t want this to be the alter on which my great QOL is sacrificed. Any advice fellow warriors?
