Hello there,I too have a prolapse bladder I think.I went to my GP and she has refered me to NHS consultant.I have just had a reply it is 33 week waiting list.In the meantime I have bought a Kegel 8 ultra 20 machine and have been using it almost daily since november,I have also started taking vitamin D as I am deficient. The doctor also gave me a cream(estrogen) and I used it every night for 2 weeks before trying a pessary, then twice a week but she now says I have to have a 3 month break. It made me feel alot better down there.I also tried a ring pessary which made my prolapse feel great(bulge was supported) but I was constantly trickling urine(worse than before).I took it out myself after almost a week. The doctor tried a bigger size ring but that was worse with the leaking urine,so I took that out.She said I'd have to wait for appointment now.I have seen lots of different shapes of pessary on youtube, but my GP must only do ring.I will look at the cube ones on amazon to see what they're like.I would prefer something I can put in and take out myself. It's the urine leaking that gets me down. The kegel machine has helped tone the muscles so I don't feel the dragging as much but it took around 3 months of daily use to feel a different.I have also tried to stop lifting heavy things which has helped.Thankyou for that useful advice.
When you go on Amazon there you can see a Italian company, I bought my cube Pessary there. The thing is to buy the correct measure. They have the scale equivalent between ring and cube.
In my case, when I went to the gynecologist he put on me a ring (63mm) It was not work for me, then I bought the cube Pessary 33mm according the equivalent scale, however it was too big as I bought another one two sizes less and it was too small but anyway help me a lot meanwhile I was waiting for my appt.
So I recommend you to buy at least one or two sizes less and try on!
This kind of Pessary we have to removed every night and when you are going to put it back you can use vaginal cream moisturise or any gel water base.
By the way, if you try to get your appt in the hospital section Jigsaw department, there nurses gynecologist assistant can provide you a cube.
I bought my first and second cube on Amazon but when I have my appt there they provided me one (cube Pessary size between that I have) because that I had smallest one on, and during the day I had to push it up all the time.
