Librax side effects
Hello to the IBS Community,
😊 I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out because I've been navigating stress-induced IBS, and it's been quite a journey. The symptoms—pain, nausea, bloating, inflammation—have been challenging, to say the least. I have been feeling pain daily for months

A quick update for those that remember my recent posts about the Ablation complications!
Ablation 16/3, artery got damaged, 3 outpatient appointments, 2 failed attempts at thrombin infusion under ultrasound, emergency 3 day admission to hospital with emergency pseudoaneurysm and arteriovenous fistula repair (pretty major surgery involving patching the damaged artery with cow veins) . Most

Ureter Restriction from Radiation Treatments?
While I don't have any symptoms (yet), a CT scan and ultrasound tests show that the lower part of my right ureter tube is very narrow and causing the kidney to swell, apparently from restricted flow of urine through the ureter. My University of Chicago Medicine urologist suspects scarring in the ureter

bladder aches
Hello all! New to the forum, 42 years old, male. Thanks for having me! About eight months ago, and for the first time in my life, I suddenly developed an ache in my bladder area. I had a prostate exam and blood test, as well as a UTI test and all was negative. Within 2-3 weeks the pain went away

Bladder Cancer Update and More. UPDATE.
Back in January I was diagnosed with problems with my spine as below. "x rays shows OA throughout loss lumbar lordosis" I posted at the time being my spine is affected, would that affect me being able to have a spinal (Epidural) when I have a Cystoscopy? I said at the time I would consult my GP and

Anyone have side effects from omenectomy?
Hi everyone, I’m after some advice. I’ve decided to have a preventative total hysterectomy with salpingo-oopherectomy (one ovary is already gone with my OC tumor - I’m one year NED so far). I also have endometriosis too, so I’m hoping this helps stop that pain too. My procedure, together with a hernia

Journey to recovery
Hi everyone, I’m in my second month of recovery from IBS. Try Peppermint oil capsules (not the sweets) 30 minutes to 1 hour before your meal; 15 minutes it’s quite ok. The Holland & Barrets is highly recommended . I also take 2 glasses of water every morning before breakfast. Your mental health also

Baclofen pump
Hello my dear friends, My spasticity has gotten worse in my legs. I did a baclofen pump trial about 20 years ago. Made my legs too weak. Now I have much tone, especially my right leg. I don't think much had changed. I am still ambulatory, some days use nothing, trekking pole(s) or a rolator, depending

Pluvicto Question
Hi Fellow Warriors! Six months of Taxotere failed miserably. After 8 rounds, I was done. After chemo, my second PSMA-PET showed additional bone mets and a spread to the lymph nodes. My MO told me I was a good candidate for Pluvicto, so, three months after finishing Taxotere, I started that therapy

Potential biochemical recurrence post radical prostatectomy, looking for perspective on the outcomes and treatments.
63-year old Male, months shy of 5-year mark of the radical prostatectomy, showed PSA of .08 in January then .07 in March. Originally had up to Gleason 9’s. I know it’s not technically a recurrence until .2, and doubling time is the next variable to look out for. But what else should we keep in mind

Possible Problems With Bladder Cancer Treatment
My treatment now seems to be - Flexy Cystoscopy first - If anything is found then booked for admission to have tumour(s) removed. This is done with a procedure called TURBT and rigid cystoscopy. As a BTY - I am unsure if my BCG treatment has ended, or have I one more go. I am not allowed "general

Strange results
I'm waiting for an abdominal ultrasound scan and vaginal scan due to low abdomen pain. Blood and poo tests all ok. Now have what feels like a UTI (very frequent urination, stinging) and was given a 7 day course of Cefalexin 500mg yesterday. Today GP surgery has rung to say no infection in my urine but

New here
Hi everyone. I’m new here. 32 weeks pregnant and experiencing severe urethral pain for over a month. Doctors think the baby is on the nerves supplying the urethra. Cystoscopy was clear, no uti. Has anyone ever had this experience? Constant urge to pee and lightning bolts every few minutes shooting down
