Its seems such a poignant act, I hope I can find somewhere to take part in this beautiful ritual, such a lovely way to remember loved ones.

I keep wanting to get pictures of loved ones printed onto Christmas baubles that would be a great way to remember them at Christmas.

Wouldn’t that be just smashing Kenny!

I suppose some might find it too much but not me x

Great idea Kenny. I did that for my nephews new born who I’m pleased to say is still very much alive.

Might do that next yr though. No longer care what other people think Chloe x

My friend went to a service at the Royal Marlston (not sure that’s the correct spelling) where she lit a candle for her husband. He’d spent many hrs there getting treatment for cancer. I used to but prefer now to light candles for my loved ones here at home.

I was in a hospice grief support group. One session the therapist brought in a table full of crafts and clear ornaments. We made ornaments in honor of our loved ones and then went around the room and explained why we chose the items we put in the ornaments. It was a very emotional session. My sister loved butterflies. She had 2 clip on butterflies that I have had on my tree every year since her passing

I wish everyone a holiday of peace. This is a tough time as we will forever wish our loved ones were with us.

Merry Christmas to you all

❤️🐬

We always have yellow roses. Also butterflies 🦋 because they’re beautiful & unfortunately die too soon. My sisters favourite film & show was Westside Story. I plan to go, just me, on Thursday. I shall sit there mask 😷 & tissues to hand & think of my big sister x
