Would you have someone to contact who'll help out?

Probably yes but really unlikely for me to ask. Unfortunately for me, in a way, I’m really good at reading people & have come to realise that the majority don’t want to know. If it was physically like a task of some sort then yes but mentally absolutely not.

Why is that Caza ? why are so many people concerned about a 'word' because that's all it is, sad though.<3

Because they don’t want your pain inflicted on their “happy” life’s. It’s ok I’m used to it but get angry when they off load their problems on to me. I’m good at not showing it. 🙂

My son has recently moved nearer so in an emergency I’d call him. My so called friends have dwindled away over the past year, you’re right Caza saying they don’t want our pain inflicted on them. A couple friends contacted me last week ( it’s just over a year since my husband passed) to say they hoped I’m “feeling better now & ready to enjoy life”!! If anything I’m more broken than I was a year ago...Bereavement certainly tells you who your true friends are.

A year is no time at all is it. I felt so much worse in the 2nd year. I think the shock numbed me in the first year. In some ways I envy them having no idea.

Take care x
