Hi well have seen my Rhuemy and had a steroid injection in my thigh (Buritis) and then Dr tried drawing fluid from my knee as it was very swollen (that bliming well hurt) and didnt get any. Then had a steroid injection in knee. Now waiting for a ultrasound scan so they can inject into my hip joint. I feel like poo but like a soldier went back to work the next day!!! Maybe I should rest a little more but my colleagues have given me a foot rest to keep my leg elevated!!! As for the GP saga, had to go to the surgery for my B12 injection and blood tests yesterday and my Nurse has sent off a sample for me!! Also they took a sample at the hospital to be sent off as it had blood in it!

Oh well better get back to doing some work!!!!

Hugs

Angela

Hi Hun,

Oh!.... can't wait to see a picture of the new updated you ! You have a very pretty face hun and I'm sure your new image will only improve your appearance even further. Sometimes an image makeover is great to boost us up which it sounds like you need at the moment sweetie. Mwah !

I have had the fluid thing myself and it isn't pleasant is it ? Anything to do with needles and knees generally makes me cringe let alone if I am at the sharp end of them. LOL. :(

Samples, samples and more samples ! They shove things in us and pull things out, all of which takes it's toll and flippin' well hurts most of the time. Try to be a bit kind on yourself hun

.......pushing yourself more when you need to be resting can be unproductive and soul destroying. I know you need to work at the moment but please try to get as much rest and relaxation as you can when you get home. You deserve it hun.

Take care of yourself and so lovely to hear from you're updates that you're holding your own with the dreaded BD at the moment.

big hugs xx

Thank you!

I am a positive person but have to admit that am looking forward to the weekend. I intend to rest as much as I can and have lots of sleep (if I can)!

Your kind words have cheered me up.

Hugs

Angela I'm feeling pretty poop after working up to 4 full days a week.

Thank golly I have several spare days holiday so I have used this to remain at 4 days per week until the end of the financial/holiday year.

There don't seem to be many of us managing to work but I do feel it benefits me mentally but I am still in my pj's and it's nearly 3pm so not sure if it really worth feeling so fatigued on the rest days??

I love pm'ing you whilst I'm at work....its like a quick chat at the water cooler with a work colleague only it's virtual and you understand the bursitis pain etc....chat soon and hope you feel better soon. Jill xx

I am very impressed by those that are still working. I don't know how you manage. I wasn't reliable enough to keep working. You may have seen last year when Lesley offered to help people set up work from home. I am sure she would still be happy to help you get set up, it may still keep the money rolling in while able to be in your home and able to take that nap when necessary.

A funny thing to add to that. My wonderful husband decided that all the boxes brought up into our new unit may be better off in storage until we have somewhere to put things. He sent me into have a midday rest but he made many trips up and down and banged the door every time and then came into say why aren't you sleeping? Only a question from a man!
