I got a call saying I could go into local hospital for my flexy cystoscopy There is a 25 mile difference.
My last rigid cystoscopy showed that 5 out of 6 biopsies was low grade, hence the flexy cystoscopy..
I have not long ago finished my 3 x BCG infusions - Have they worked, my flexy cystoscopy will tell.
My first TURBT that was my first after my diagnosis showed after the tumour was removed, the cancer was superficial.
But Bladder Cancer in situ is always likely to spread, that is the nature of this cancer. It has gone from low to high and back low again I will know in abut 5 weeks exactly what is what.
Been for an eye injection this morning for Wet Macular Visions - 8-30 to be there - My eye had some fluid was better than last time - Plan was inject me today, and change to 8 weeks, lol every time they have done that, been reversed, They are OK nurses at this unit
So come 1,50 today at doctors she was me there because of back X-ray and some bloods - Busy day .

that is a busy day, a lot to deal with in one day. I’m glad you were able to go to your local hospital at least. I hope the flexy cystoscopy goes ok. Thinking of you 🤞
Just got back from Doctors Carol - She said the back pain is a lot of Arthritis in my spine and from halfway the rest of my back from half way. She said my spine was stiff not sure what that meant but - She said no sign of cancer lesions in my back bones, I am glad but did not know they was looking for that also What a day - Arthritis hurts but I am used to that. No appointments for two months except when they call me in for Flexy Cystoscopy. Xxx
Busy day indeed Ern. Arthritis is so painful (on top of everything else you're dealing with). Glad that, apart from your Flexy Cystoscopy, you're appointment free for a couple of months 🙂. Take care xxx
Thank you Nula2 - I had it in the feet for years, my back has only been bad for about a year, I have painkillers that will deal with most things. Yea two whole months to myself, bliss You take care also and keep warm, so cold this snap xx
Thank you Ern, I've got an appointment with my lung specialist tomorrow which is 2 buses there and 2 back. Not looking forward to waiting in the freezing cold at each bus stop 🥶. So tempted to cancel but must think myself lucky to get an appointment. I know some members on here are not so fortunate xxx
It’s good to know there are no lesions in your spine. Arthritis is very painful as I can also testify. Wishing you all the best Ern and hope all goes well with the Flexy Cystoscopy when you get the call. Take it easy. Xxx🥰
Goodness me, Ern, you were on the go today! I’m glad they’ve agreed to do your procedure at the local hospital now, anyway. I’m also glad your X-ray showed nothing more sinister than arthritis, although that’s bad enough, as I know only too well 🙄 Pleased to hear you have a couple of months appointment free. I imagine you could do with a rest!
So glad you have a couple of months free of appointments Ern. You must have been exhausted yesterday. Hope you can have a restful few weeks recharging your batteries and that your cystoscopy goes well when it happens. xxJoy
They certainly seem to be looking after you. Pleased you got in at your local hospital. I sympathise with the back pain. Good luck with the cystoscopy.
What a busy time you have been having Ern, so pleased for you that the x ray showed no signs and that the cystoscopy can be done locally. Time to rest up now and enjoy a bit of freedom from appointments. I dont have anything for the rest of the month so enjoying my pj lazy days x
I got a telephone call this morning saying go in 10-30 on 14 February - i was asleep and Anne had to shake me to wake me, and I normally am a light sleeper. Thank Wendy, and I am glad my back has nothing to do with or treatment, You take care also and warm. xxx
