Yes, but it's more of a wobbly off balance feeling, it's awful.

That's exactly what it's like :(

I had dizziness on and off for years before I recognised it at as an anxiety symptom. Now I have it pretty much all the time, drives me crazy!!

To all. Yes this is part of anxiety. Can be controlled with deep breathing exercises. Takes a while to learn but does work. Start with laying on your bed and closing your eyes. I picture a square in my head. Breath in along the top line, counting slowly to 5, hold breath going down right hand side line, counting slowly to 5, breath out along bottom line, counting slowly to 5, hold breath going up left hand side line. Then repeat. If you can't hold to 5 then hold to 4. I have been practising for years and can put myself to sleep doing this. Obviously you can't do this in public but practising and getting some control over it actually takes away the added anxiety you feel when you have an anxiety attack and get scared coz you can't do anything about it. Try to understand the biology behind it as well. In some cases its hyperventilation or overbreathing. Try breathing slowly into a paper bag. hope this helps.

Hello! yes this has increased in my life lately! Dizziness. Esp when I am outside. So annoying! I hate it! I feel so surreal and I hate the feeling. I was with my sister and had to go into a shop to get away for a minute. Once I was with my mum and panicked so bad! Worst panic attack ever! I felt like I was in a dream. I think gentle exposure is better than full exposure to the outdoors if any one has agorophobia and if its just anxiety drink plenty of water as we get dehydrated a lot, our mouths go dry due to anxiety! eat good food including vegetables and carbs is also a must as we need a well-balanced diet to cope and we need to avoid things like caffiene, chocolate, sweets, crisps and other inhealthy snacks as they are high in salt or sugar! Vitamins are also good! I have started taking well woman. I believe this will help me as sometimes I think my panic and anxiety is 'montly periods and hormones' related. Good luck xx
