i was wonder if anyone knows a good lawyer or solicitor that deals with problems/ issues of people with mental health problems
i had a solicitor working in claim for an accident that i had, but he didnt know how to deal
with everything that was related with mental health and even put me signing papers that i didnt know what they were, he didnt explain properly and now he closes his office and no one knows where he is
i ask an mental health advocate, the ones that volunteer and they said i have to arrange a lawyer that is used to take care of all legal things regarding the mental health condition
can any one help, please - i really need a good one?
thanks

Well you need to find a lawyer who specialises in this field, but in your area - if you go to the Law Society website, you can search for a law firm by where you live and by specialism, mental health is one of them, just use the drop down boxes.
Hope this helps, hun, and good luck. Oh, and when you get on the law society site, you might drop them an email about the other solicitor, cos he should be struck off!!!!
If it is a report you need about how the accident affected your mental health, then most solicitors are a bit clueless. In fact, they can even lose you thousands because of their inadequacies.
On the other hand, if you just need a solicitor to deal with the quantum of the case, then there are lots of solicitors who are competent in this.
I would shop around to commission a good report. No way should you entirely entrust it to a solicitor.
Message me by all means if you need any specific info' on this.
