Hi blue

I have never taken these meds but if you read the blogs people have & do say these can be side effects but do pass

Taking tablets on an empty stomach will not help with the sickness , I no its hard when you dont feel like eating , have the same problem , but try biscuite , piece of toast anything no matter how small , this would help you with the sicky feeling

If you feel these meds are really not for you have a word with your GP , even though like I have said people do seem to take a few weeks to settle on them , but if you cant cope tell them how you feel

Let us no how you go on

thank you for your reply feel a bit of a freak at the min xx

Hi Blue,

I have been prescribed this drug today for anxiety and after reading of other peoples side affects, I am too scared to take it. I think I would rather suffer the 4 or more panic attacks a day. I was thinking of just taking half (25mg) but even that is freaking me out.

The symptoms you are experiencing are normal and they will go. If you can eat something that would be better for you. I have been taking sertraline for 4 months now and they have been great. Anxiety has reduced and feel much more like being able to cope and calmer.

the anxiety you feel is more the problem than the meds I would think , they do take a while to work & you can feel worse before you feel better

People that have stuck with them have had very good things to say about them & glad they did

If you really feel you cant stick with them please go back & see your GP , there will be something else they can give you

Can you not talk to your partner & explain how you are feeling ?

You are certainly not a freak as you said in your earlier post , you are not well at the moment with anxiety & that does not make you a freak , as we all would be if that was the case ;)

Take each day , maybe 10 minutes some times ,, you will get through this , whether it be you take these meds or see GP & change them , go & see them tomorrow if you feel you cant cope on them

Keep posting & talking , it helps
