Hi. joane. Like all benzodiazepines they take a while to leave you. If you are on a heavy dose then on no account 'cold turkey'! You need to 'taper'. Hi. joane. Have you been advised to come off tablets by your GP? Withdrawal symptoms can be alarming and it may be that you are coming off too quickly. Only your doctor can advise on this. Tapering is good when you are ready. Go to the website of Professor Ashton.

(Just punch her name up. It is well known). She has specialised in withdrawing from tablets and I am sure you would get good advice there about tapering.You have halved your dose and this may be too quick. Check on it. Very best wishes. jonathan.

Joane. You must not cut down on your own. Your GP must be able to advise on this. We are not, while in an anxiety state, capable of the right judgement. We cannot be objective. Only someone outside can do that. If you had an operation on your ear then you dizziness is probaly caused by that although, as you know, anxiety can do this too. hi jonathan 2468 went to g/p on monday have to take 15 mg one day then 7.5 next day for 2 weeks then 7.5 for another 2 weeks head just not right not well at all can any one help thanks joane
