Adrenaline.

Hi. All. This word crops up so often I thought I would look into it further. It appears that we have two little glands on top of our kidneys called The Adrenaline Glands. They are Endocrine Glands. (Not a medical student so I do not think this matters).

They weigh 7 to 10grams. Who would have thought that so small a thing could cause so much havoc!!!. It is sometimes said, well, if they cause so much trouble why not remove them? After removal the next day would go something like this. Headlines. "Man/Women goes over level crossing while lights were flashing". "Man/Women steps in front bus". "Man/Women drives on right side of road" (UK only). See what I mean? There would be no sense of DANGER. OK, so you would not have ANXIETY but a major part of your SURVIVAL kit would have gone. Most of us know what they do and how they give us warning of danger. It is how we re-act to the danger signals that is important. Regards. jonathan.
