I remember feeling very hot when I was on them. And the doctors say you don't get side affects!

that does not help me.you have to stay on them for the rest of your life not come off them.

Oh, millions of people take it and they soon feel better, thats all you ever read. I think its just the very odd person who doesnt get on with them and even then the Dr would never ever agree that its the thyroxine. So its not proven. Just my situation, but saying that i have massive massive graves antibodies, even though i am hypo. So my body is always fighting between being over and under active, a total one off im sure so im sure none of this will apply to you!! Lots and lots of people feel better in no time. Good luck!

Hi Andy. I also have an under active thyroid and taking Thyroxine 50 micrograms. I think this is a small amount but not sure. I dont think it has much affect on me. I am always on edge and anxious. I am also diabetic have high blood pressure and was told I had Epilepsy but they have changed their minds about the epilepsy and say they are non epileptic attacks. I also have depression, panic attacks. I have had a crap weekend and feel on rock bottom at the moment. I hope you feel better once you are on the thyroid tablet. Good luck Carol.
