Hiya!

I am on pregabalin and have been for about 10 months now. I started off on 75mg and was on that for about 5 months but it totally zonked me out - I was SO lethargic that I was sleeping for about 17 hours a day and my memory was screwed. I've now worked my way down to 25mg which just seems to be OK and take the edge off.

I'm also on citalopran and have been for about 5 years now.

How are you finding it? Or are you just considering it? I had a freind that was on it a few years ago who recommended it to me as she got on really well with it...

Any questions then please do ask!

x

Hiya. Yeah I got mine from doc - but some are reluctant as it's very expensive for the NHS - she always mentions this when I go!!

I have put on weight - but to be honest I really can't say that's defo down to the tablets as I was very inactive last year and when anxious I don't eat properly so I think it's more likely to be that!

Nibbles1 - it might be helpful to look at this to research meds: nhs.uk/Conditions/Anxiety/P... then you can take some suggestions to your doctor.

I met a nurse the other day who said walking/exercise is a brilliant medicine for anxiety - after 20 minutes your body releases endorphines. I really haven't felt like it for the past year but I really think I will try this too...

hi,have just been on the web site really interesting and will take info on board thanks, yeh i was told to exercise and it does help but sometimes when my labrinthitus is not good u cant do much but they do say to keep moving with it but its easier said than done at times, and i did a bit of wlking yesterday and got out of breath and found it hard to breath couldnt catch my breath panicked a lot then ran all the way back to my friend and took some pills as that is the worst i have felt with the lack of breathing,i get all the other symtons but that was a first for me and i can say i didnt like it
