ocular migraines? i can get them sometimes. usually stress induced.
Hi flowerbud, I get them on occasion as well. What I've been told to do
and it helps is: go into a dark room, close your eyes and just relax for about
10-15 minutes. It should settle down by then. My best to you xx
Yes, I have had ocular migraines for many years. They are triggered by all sorts of things but I think in my case, mostly commonly hormones and even at times bright light, like the sun reflecting off of something shiny. They're always a little anxiety producing when they start but they are harmless. The best thing to do is to lie down (if you're able) and try and relax. Anxiety seems to prolong them.
Yes, I get them occasionally and they are quite scary because you feel like you’re losing your vision. I believe mine are stress induced as that is when I notice them most. My ophthalmologist said they are not anything to worry about so I’m going to take his word for it and hope that they’re not anything serious.
