Scared to death

I thought my life had come to an end ,I couldn't stop coughing and started gasping for my breathing, it's like my life was flashing in front of my eyes .I'm now on the sofa propped up with my phone close by ,I told my wife to stay in bed as she's not well .At least if I need help I can call an ambulance if need to and my wife. I'm going to try and get some sleep 😴 if possible. Night night 🌙

Yes that's right, I did get some sleep but woke up coughing again my wife is now full of cold so I'm doctor come nurse for the day.

I’m so glad I read your post because I had a cough like what you are are describing last year. When I started to cough real bad, it felt like my airway shut off and totally closed up so I could not breathe at all for a few seconds. I want to ER and they checked me for COVID and the flu, but they couldn’t find anything. I’m not sure what it was, but when I get a cold, I live in horror that it will come back again.

Yes I did a test for covid. I've still my cough that's going to my chest it's been a week tomorrow so hopefully I will feel better soon . Hope you feel OK now .

I had a bad cough and did a covid test it was Neg. 2 days later ached all over and so tired did another Covid test and tested Pos. Still ill a week later. I wonder with the new variants did the old test I had although in date did not pick it up. Never had covid before, and people keep saying it's like a bad cold, but it felt flu like to me, stayed in bed for 2 days. Hope you feel a bit better soon.
