I have c-ptsd. It just means my ptsd experiences were chronic instead of stand alone. I was diagnosed anxiety at 22, and ptsd and adhd at 38. This was 3 years ago. The most prevalent symptom is feelings of panic and anxiety when you keep getting the memories coming back. DBT has been helping me a lot with mine.

Also finally taking action on my situation is empowering and helping me too. So I was misdiagnosed for 15 years and undiagnosed 22 years total. My family was the source of my ptsd and disowning them was the best thing I could do for it.
