Hot sweats

Hi, new to the group, have had some health issues and now experiencing some anxiety episodes. Trying to work out whether some of the things I am feeling are anxiety related or something else. One thing I am curious about is that I wake in the early hours and a few minutes after waking get a hot sweat, its not what is waking me but seems to come on after I have woken up. Is this something that my anxiety is causing, I have also had acid reflux problems in the past but that seems a bit more settled at the moment so not sure I can put it down to that. Just wondering if others experience the same Many thanks

I have experienced this and I have always felt it was anxiety for me

I'm having anxiety and internal body burning. Been trying to figure out what's causing the burning. I have many health issues since getting the c virus. My burning is constant and using a cooling spray fan and aloe vera gel helps some. I read it could be caused from anxiety and neuropathy. It started after taking a 10 day dose of doxycycline for a sinus infection. If you find out what's causing it, please let us know.

Hi Edensky, yes I get very bad sweats on waking I do get them through the day also the sweat runs down my face I realy don't know if its my anxiety or medication I'm on my gp says it's the anxiety but find it hard to believe has when I get a good 5 minutes I can still go into a sweat
