Need immediate help

I very much appreciate any suggestion. Since I was a child, I have travel anxiety/panic attack like. I get really anxious and it is just for traveling and it really screws up all the fun of traveling.

Do you know of any natural or over the counter medication that can be used for immediate relief.

It is just few hours before traveling. I have no other problems in other times.

Hi. Are you talking about travelling in a car or on a plane?

If on a plane, you could try reading or using your phone to get in a different mindset. Same if you are a passenger in a car.

My doctor suggested passion flower supplements for any anxious situations, it also helps with sleep. (I also take it when I get nervous due to my Ritalin medication)

hi I know that it’s confusing for Dr. clear weeks trying to say well not even trying is saying have you heard of DARE? It is actually the same training as Dr Claire Weekes what she is saying is you have to acknowledge that you have anxiety and then you have to except it you have to except that you do have it and by doing that you’re saying, I know I have anxiety I know I have the symptoms. And I’m not going to try to cover it up what she saying is you have to take the time to understand what’s going on? When something is bothering you and you can’t get it out of your head and just obsessed with it it’s your adrenaline rush in through your body and causing all the symptoms what she says to do is not to fight it but to join it, you have to train your brain to know, you don’t wanna fight you want to except that you have the symptoms from your anxiety and you have to let anxiety know that you’re not gonna fight it and this takes time it’s not going to take overnight or a couple of months you can take a year or more but you have to give it that time you have to say to yourself I can do this I can win if you fight and keep saying why is this happening? What is going on you should be saying OK I have these heart palpitations or I have. Shaking or whatever symptoms that you do have and you just say whatever it’s not real anxiety is not real if you get the Dare book and the apps, they explain it much better to you because it’s written in our time now that the clear weeks is about 60 years ago Are used to dare response and there are things that I don’t understand. Also, I’ve had anxiety for years and years sometimes I feel like just giving up. I’m not doing the dare anymore but I’m not gonna give up. I’m gonna keep trying. I probably made you more confused than anything. I’m sorry I just was very very happy with Dr. Claire’s weeks book. I just have a lot going on in my life and I know it’s gonna take me time but I hope I can help you. If you have any more questions you can ask me I will do the best that I can or try to find out for you, but try the Dare response
