62 year old man suffering from GAD most of my life. Take too much medicine but when I try stop the anxiety comes back. Also have depression. Married with 3 kids and 4 grandchildren

Hi Trainchaser, I'm sorry you have struggled so long with mental health issues.

I will say this, the many medications that you are on only go so far. Unless the

cause of your abuse has been addressed, coming off meds is going to be difficult :) xx

cause of abuse and issues surrounding the abuse have significantly decreased over the past few months. I should continue taking what I have until I see my doctor

Welcome to the group Trainchaser! If the meds are working I wouldn’t worry about taking them. 🙂

Hello and welcome to the group. If you quit the meds it's best to do a slow taper to give your mind and body time to adjust to the changes.
